Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Director of Neuroscience Discovery based in Cambridge, MA. You will design and interpret translational pharmacology studies to advance neuroscience programs.

You will lead a team, ensure rigorous study design, and align preclinical work with clinical biomarker strategies while guiding external collaborations. This role requires a PhD with 10+ years in drug discovery, strong leadership, and the ability to drive programs from ideation to early clinical

Qualifications

• PhD with extensive drug discovery experience in neuroscience.
• Experience leading PhD, MS/MA and BS/BA scientists.
• Strong track record in translational pharmacology and animal models.
• Ability to guide external collaborations and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and mentor a team of scientists in translational pharmacology.
• Ensure rigor and regulatory-quality study design and data interpretation.
• Shape research strategy across the neuroscience portfolio.
• Oversee IND-enabling pharmacology studies and early clinical development.
• Collaborate with Translational Discovery and Clinical Development teams.
