Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb, Cambridge Crossing, is seeking a Sr Director of Early Clinical Development in Neuroscience to lead clinical strategy for early assets, supervise global physicians, and drive Phase 1 program design and execution. You will partner with translational teams and KOLs to shape disease area strategies and biomarker programs.

Ideal candidates have MD/PhD, 7+ years in translational/clinical research, and strong leadership in matrix environments.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (MD or MD/PhD) with deep neuroscience expertise.
• 7+ years of discovery, translational, and/or clinical research experience in pharma/academic settings.
• Experience in Phase 1 trials, biomarker development, and development strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Phase 1 trials and act as Medical Monitor when needed; articulate clinical development strategy.
• Synthesize plans for trial design, development and regulatory strategy based on data.
• Lead matrix teams of Global Clinical Physicians and Scientists; mentor and retain top talent.
