Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Senior Director of Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits) to lead strategy, design, and execution of total rewards across our growing national retail network. This role partners with the HR leadership to drive competitive programs that attract, retain, and engage teammates while controlling cost.

You will oversee compensation strategy, benefits design, and enterprise leave administration, I-9/unemployment processes, with a data-driven, scalable approach.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience required.
• Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of seven years of leadership experience.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or CBP preferred.
• Extensive experience with broad-based retail compensation and benefits.
• Ability to consult with employees at all levels and lead significant changes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; expert in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and govern compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate talent.
• Oversee job architecture, market benchmarking, and pay structure development.
• Provide strategic oversight for annual compensation cycles (merit, bonus, equity).
• Develop multi-year benefits strategy and optimize communication of programs.
• Lead enterprise leave administration, ADA accommodations, and HR compliance operations.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and external consultants on plan design and funding.
