Job summary

The Mind Trust in Connecticut seeks a Senior Director, Talent & School Support to lead CSP-funded work developing leaders for replicating and expanding charter schools. You will coordinate leadership development, school support TA, and partnerships with CSDE and the authorizer to strengthen the charter sector.

You will manage multi-vendor contracts, translate needs into actionable plans, and drive data-informed improvements across academic, financial, and operational domains.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and leading technical assistance, consulting, professional learning, or school-support programs.
• Ability to translate needs into clear strategies, scopes of work, and measurable deliverables.
• Deep understanding of K-12 operations and the systems to launch and sustain high-quality schools.
• Excellent project management and ability to handle multiple complex initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, contracts, and grant-funded activities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead CSP technical assistance strategy targeting new, expanding, and replicating charter schools.
• Launch and lead CSP-funded Leadership Development Training programs for charter-school leaders.
• Coordinate school support TA to strengthen academic, financial, and operational performance.
• Recruit and manage external partners delivering TA, dashboards, and family access supports.
• Lead development of statewide tools and annual reports alongside state partners.
