Job summary

The Mind Trust is seeking a Grants Administrator to lead CSP-CT grant administration and federal compliance. You will oversee subgrant lifecycle, reporting, and coordination with CSDE and the U.S.

Department of Education, ensuring rigorous financial controls and timely deliverables. Join a collaborative team working to expand high-quality charter schools, manage complex budgeting, and strengthen accountability across Connecticut’s CSP program.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing federal grants, preferably under 2 CFR Part 200.
  • Experience with subgrantee fiscal monitoring, audit review and corrective action.
  • Familiarity with ESEA Title IV programs or other U.S. Department of Education grants.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or comparable financial tools.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full subgrant lifecycle from RFP to closeout, including documentation and amendments.
  • Coordinate CSP-CT activities, timelines, and cross-functional task management across teams.
  • Prepare annual subgrant monitoring calendars and coordinate site visits and deadlines.
  • Onboard subgrantees and disseminate CSP-CT guidance and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain a central portfolio of subgrants, tracking status and submissions across grants.
  • Assist in preparing Annual Performance Reports and other federal submissions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and monitor subgrantees for compliance and performance.
