Job summary

Benco Dental, a leading US dental distributor, seeks a Director of Supply Chain to drive end-to-end performance across five distribution centers. You will align procurement, inventory, and demand planning with senior leadership to gain a competitive edge in the dental market.

The role requires strategic vision, deep analytics, and strong vendor management; travel ~20% and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential. Excellent leadership and communication are a must.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field.
Master’s/MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

Define and execute a multi-year supply chain strategy, including S&OP, across five distribution centers.
Negotiate pricing, terms, warranties with key vendors; lead scorecard-driven reviews and optimize rebates, credits, and returns.
Optimize inventory positioning across consumables, equipment, and private label lines to reduce costs and maintain in-stock targets.
Ensure import/export compliance and develop international sourcing strategies for private label products.
Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing supply chain talent with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Own the supply chain operating budget; deliver cost savings and report metrics to senior leadership.
