Colonial Staffing Group Inc. in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a Senior Director of Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end supply chain strategy for aerospace/defense manufacturing. The role requires building and scaling the supply chain organization to support growth and readiness.

The ideal candidate has established a supply chain function, developed teams, implemented processes, and driven organizational change in a manufacturing environment. Active secret clearance or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience.
• Several years of supply chain management and team leadership.
• Aerospace and defense industry experience.
• Direct manufacturing environment experience.
• DoD, ITAR, EAR, FAR and DFARS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution.
• Build, develop and scale supply chain teams, processes and infrastructure.
• Own planning, procurement, strategic sourcing, materials, inventory, warehousing and logistics.
• Establish and improve SI&OP, production planning, material availability and supplier performance.
• Lead organizational change, process implementation and operational improvements.
• Support manufacturing growth, production ramp-up, NPI, proposals and obsolescence planning.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, operations and program leadership.
