Evolent Health LLC is seeking a Senior Director of Strategy and Program Development to lead Oncology strategy, monitor competitive and payer landscapes, and incubate priority programs through pilots before handoff for scaled delivery.

Responsibilities include shaping the 18-24 month oncology roadmap, driving program innovation, and ensuring value alignment with the overall oncology framework. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

• Strategy: Maintain a disciplined external view of market, competitor, payer, regulatory, and oncology care-delivery trends.
• Run recurring internal gap assessments of the oncology product against market needs and current performance.
• Build and refresh the 18-24 month oncology strategy and roadmap.
• Program Innovation: Shape and launch a small number of priority new programs from concept through pilot; demonstrate proof of value; for each program, lead a build/buy/partner assessment.
• Ensure each program’s value is categorized and aligned with the overarching archetype framework and remains cohesive with other components of the oncology product.
• Define pilot design, success criteria, and go/no-go decision points; hand off proven programs to Implementation, Product, Performance, and Operations for scaled delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

The Senior Director, Strategy and Program Development will provide leadership over Evolent's Oncology strategy, including monitoring of the broader competitive landscape, vendor landscape for medical expense innovation, and evolution of oncology business models. This position will further identify and incubate priority programs through pilot before handoff that will further differentiate Evolent's risk management capabilities and competitive differentiation.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Strategy Maintain a disciplined external view of market, competitor, payer, regulatory, and oncology care-delivery trends
• Run recurring internal gap assessments of the oncology product against market needs and current performance
• Build and refresh the 18-24 month oncology strategy and roadmap
• Program Innovation Shape and launch a small number of priority new programs from concept through pilot; demonstrate proof of value For each program, lead a build / buy / partner assessment in collaboration with Product Lead early-stage partner conversations and diligence with Growth/BD, who own contracting and close.
• Ensure each program’s value is categorized and aligned with the overarching archetype framework and remains cohesive with other components of the oncology product.
• Define pilot design, success criteria, and go/no-go decision points; hand off proven programs to Implementation, Product, Performance, and Operations for scaled delivery.

The Experience You’ll Need (Required):

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of healthcare management and/or healthcare consulting experience
• Strong strategy skills
• Comfort in shepherding new ideas from design to conception
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills
• Outstanding written and oral presentation skills

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $150,000-160,000.
