Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Senior Corporate Development leader to define and evolve our M&A strategy, evaluate opportunities, and manage the full deal lifecycle from screening to post-close integration.

You will build external networks and present to the C-suite and Board of Directors. Based in the United States (San Jose), this role requires 15+ years in corporate development or investment banking, with deep financial modeling and strategic analysis capabilities, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive M&A, corporate development, venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate strategy.
• Proven track record sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and closing strategic transactions with measurable financial and business outcomes.
• Experience leading or shaping corporate development strategy at a large-scale enterprise, including portfolio prioritization, deal pacing, integration planning, and post-close value realization.
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, business valuation, strategic analysis, and executive-level investment recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve Micron’s corporate development strategy, including M&A thesis development and inorganic growth frameworks.
• Independently source, evaluate, and assess M&A, partnership, and strategic investment opportunities.
• Own the full deal lifecycle from initial screening to post-close integration planning.
• Build and maintain a high-value external network of target company executives, founders, investors, bankers, PE partners, and venture leaders.
• Scan global markets and technology trends to identify opportunities, threats, and strategic implications for Micron’s roadmap.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, acquisition proposals, financial models, analyses, and recommendations for Micron’s leadership.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on strategic alternatives, partnership structures, market positioning, and transactions.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Legal, Finance, Tax, HR, Engineering, and BU leadership throughout all deal phases.
• Represent Micron externally at industry conferences, investor forums, and ecosystem events.
