Job summary

MTA Construction & Development is seeking a Director, Programs to oversee a capital program, ensuring projects move from planning through completion and handover to the operating owner. You will be accountable for safety, quality, risk, and commercial matters, delivering on time and within budget.

Required: Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in related fields, plus 5+ years in management of construction programs. Telework is allowed one day per week; travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of ten (10) years’ related experience in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
• Must have at least five (5) years in management of construction Program/Programs, or a supervisory role in a large, multi-faceted organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all project phases from planning through completion and handover to the operating owner.
• Responsible for project safety, quality, risk, and commercial matters on time and within budget.
