Job summary

SmithRx is seeking a Senior Director of Account Management to lead a high-performing team and align client management with strategic company goals. You will coach Account Executives and leaders, foster a culture of accountability, and collaborate across Operations, Product, Sales, and Finance to deliver superior client outcomes.

You will drive retention, satisfaction, and growth while building scalable processes and OKRs to measure performance as the organization scales.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Success, or related client-facing function.
• 5+ years of people leadership, including managing managers or senior professionals.
• Experience with Health Plans, TPAs, brokers or consultants is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; healthcare/PHMB experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Account Executives and leaders to hit goals.
• Establish high-performance culture with accountability and client advocacy.
• Build leadership bench, succession plans, and staffing clarity.
• Partner cross-functionally to deliver integrated client experiences.
• Escalate risks with clear recommendations and action plans.
• Drive ongoing improvements in processes, tools, and operating models.
