Job summary

ID Logistics US in Johns Creek, GA is seeking a Senior Director, Solutions Engineering to lead cross-functional solution design across North America, partnering with Commercial, Operations, Finance, IT and Customer Implementation teams.

The role focuses on new business opportunities, ensuring operationally sound, financially viable designs aligned with customer needs, including large-scale distribution, automation, and network optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; minimum 10 years in solutions/industrial engineering or related field.
• Leadership experience: at least 7 years managing solution design functions or complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Extensive RFQ/RFI/RFP experience with solution development, pricing support, and customer presentations.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, ROI analysis, and capital investment evaluation skills.
• Experience with 3PL environments and large-scale distribution/fulfillment solutions.
• Travel up to 25% with occasional periods of 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of comprehensive logistics solutions for new business opportunities, expansions, renewals, and transformations.
• Design and optimize warehouse layouts, material handling, and operational processes for varying ramp-up and seasonal needs.
• Conduct labor modeling, capacity planning, and productivity analyses to support customer requirements.
• Develop cost models, throughput projections, and pricing strategies for opportunities and renewals.
• Present strategic solution recommendations and business cases to leadership and customers.
• Guide project teams and ensure alignment with customer requirements, finances, and scalability.
