Job summary

Judge Direct Placement seeks a Sr. Director of Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) to lead material supply planning, supplier relationships, and inventory control.

You will drive the maturity of SIOP, demand planning, master scheduling, and logistics processes while aligning facilities to the plan and delivering cost savings. The role requires 10+ years in supply chain, 5+ years in leadership, and a track record of global operations excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain materials management or logistics.
• 5+ years of leadership/ management experience particularly in global operations.
• Proven track record in overseeing global supply chain, inventory control, procurement and supplier relationships.
• Ability to optimize inventory and reduce costs while ensuring production needs.
• Proficiency in supply chain analytics and data driven decision making tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in a multicultural environment.
• Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem area & potential solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop a vision and long-term strategy related to the process, systems, and skills roadmap for materials management and SIOP function across the division, aligned with the broader organization.
• Identify opportunities to develop, improve or simplify processes, guidelines and policies for effective supplier management practices, order fulfillment, inventory management and materials management.
• Manage business risks by implementing resolutions and diversifying supplier base across the in-plant materials management and supply chain management function.
• Ensure SIOP plan is set to meet customer expectations and align manufacturing facilities to support plan.
• Identify and implement total supply chain improvements. Increase supply chain visibility to assist in inventory reduction and on time delivery. Evaluate networks and pursue systems/process enhancements to reduce costs and improve reliability.
• Lead supply chain and materials management initiatives by providing direction and guidance by setting clear performance expectations and coaching to key stakeholders.
• Manage/collaborate with demand planning, product line leadership, engineering, operations, and finance teams to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Build and develop relationships at the executive level with suppliers and partners to ensure contractual commitment, alignment, and accountability.
• Foster a culture focused on continuous improvement aimed at achieving predictability and efficient materials management operations.
• Establish performance monitoring/KPI programs to effectively measure the performance of divisions internal team and our supply chain.
• Develop analytics to measure, evaluate, analyze, and take corrective action to continually improve key metrics in materials management and the supply chain function.
