Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Director of Business Technology (IT CRM) to lead our Salesforce platform strategy and end-to-end Quote-to-Cash transformation. You will build and guide a large team of architects, developers and admins, partnering with executives across GTM, Finance and Operations to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will also set AI-enabled workflows and ensure security, governance and DevOps practices scale with a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise technology with Salesforce leadership at director level or higher.
• Proven scaling of Salesforce orgs in high-growth B2B environments with CPQ/Billing.
• Experience leading end-to-end Quote-to-Cash transformations.
• Experience applying AI on the Salesforce platform (Agentforce, Einstein or similar).
• Proven ability to build and manage teams of architects, developers, admins, and analysts.
• Deep Salesforce architecture fluency; able to guide senior architects credibly.
• Broad fluency beyond Salesforce across integration, data, and cloud SaaS systems.
• Strong enterprise-architecture knowledge: APIs, event-driven systems, security at scale.
• Proven success partnering with C-suite and SVP-level GTM/Finance stakeholders.
• Experience owning multi-million-dollar platform budgets and vendor relationships.
• Cost/benefit discipline, RFP/RFI processes, and translation of business needs into tech decisions.
• Delivery and operating rigor: roadmaps, OKRs, releases, incidents.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year strategy and roadmap for Axon's Salesforce platform across Clouds and connected systems.
• Lead Quote-to-Cash transformation to improve velocity and revenue accuracy.
• Set AI strategy on Salesforce platforms to boost productivity of sellers and operations.
• Establish architectural standards, governance, security posture, and DevOps maturity.
• Grow and manage a team of managers, architects, developers, admins, and analysts.
• Partner with exec stakeholders to translate priorities into actionable roadmaps.
• Manage platform budget, vendor relationships, SI partners, and licensing strategy.
• Maintain relationship with Salesforce as a vendor; influence roadmaps and negotiations.
• Define metrics/dashboards measuring platform health and business outcomes.
• Represent Salesforce in executive forums and cross-functional planning cycles.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and customer obsession in the team.
