Job summary

Definium Therapeutics is seeking a Sr. Director, Sales Training to own end-to-end strategy and execution of training for a novel CNS product. The role requires deep scientific fluency, patient/HCP engagement, and strict compliance.

You will design curricula, lead a high-impact training program, and collaborate across Commercial, Medical, and Compliance to ensure scalable readiness for launch and sustained field excellence. Remote work with travel in the US is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or life sciences preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive pharma/biotech commercial experience including sales training and capability development.
• Experience leading successful sales training and product launch initiatives.
• Proven track record building or scaling training functions in CNS/psychiatry or complex therapeutic areas.
• Deep understanding of adult learning, instructional design and modern training delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead a comprehensive sales training curriculum covering product knowledge, clinical data, disease-state education, competitive landscape, and compliant practices.
• Build training programs for novel DT120 ODT and related administration considerations, clinical observation, and market access.
• Partner with Commercial Leadership, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Compliance and Legal to ensure content is accurate, strategic, and compliant.
• Develop and deliver live, virtual, and digital training experiences for onboarding, ongoing development, and launch readiness, with in-person delivery at Philadelphia and other sites.
• Lead the sales training function, manage external partners, and establish processes and metrics for training effectiveness and field capability.
• Create measurement frameworks to assess knowledge retention, behavior change, and business impact; refine programs based on data and field feedback.
• Support sales leadership in coaching frameworks and the development of sales managers as trainers.
