A leading nonprofit biomedical research institution seeks a Senior Director for Sales & Business Development. This remote role requires strong leadership to manage a sales team and drive revenue growth in North America, focusing on building relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

This position is responsible for sales of all JMCRS products and services (such as Mouse strains, Model Generation, Breeding, Reproductive Sciences, In Vivo Pharmacology, PreClinical Services) to academic and governmental research centers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies within North America. It is a key leadership role overseeing daily operations to drive revenue growth in its region. The primary goal is to meet organizational sales targets by developing and leading the North American sales team. The individual will collaborate with various JMCRS departments including Marketing, Product Management, Technical Support, Customer Service, Project Management, Product Development, and Operations. The role also involves managing a sizable team of field-based Account Managers, Regional Directors, Market Development Managers, Strategic Account Managers, and office-based sales support staff. Building strong relationships with key customers, business leaders, and stakeholders is crucial. Regular travel to JAX campuses and customer sites is expected.
This position is remote with up to 50% travel for meetings, conferences, and onsite visits.
The salary range is $157,688 - $277,662, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
