Pattern Energy is seeking a Senior Director, Commercial Origination in San Francisco to lead the identification, structuring, and execution of offtake and revenue agreements that maximize the value of its development portfolio and operating assets.

The role requires strong experience in energy markets, complex negotiations, and customer relationship management across the United States, with responsibility for mentoring a small team and collaborating with Finance, Development, and Asset

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in energy marketing and renewable project development.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex energy revenue and offtake agreements.
• Experience developing customer relationships in the United States.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Deep knowledge of power markets and offtake structures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source offtake opportunities and lead the structuring, negotiation and execution of complex revenue agreements.
• Establish, manage and enhance customer relationships within an assigned region.
• Manage and mentor 1-3 direct reports and coordinate cross-functional transaction efforts.
• Support asset management on revenue optimization for operating assets and re-contracting opportunities.
• Collaborate with Development, Finance, Environmental and Permitting, Asset Management, Insurance and other stakeholders on terms and pricing.
