Job summary

Uniphar is seeking a Senior Director of Program Management and Planning to lead development program management across the company. You will establish PM policies, supervise program managers, and support drug development initiatives in collaboration with partners.

The role requires extensive experience in biotech/pharma program management, strong leadership, and expertise in budgeting, risk management, and CAPA processes. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, 15+ years in biotech/pharma or clinical/research industries.
• 10+ years project management experience with leadership responsibilities.
• 5+ years of line management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements standard program management best practices.
• Advises staff and provides program management training.
• Oversees budgets, timelines, and resource planning for large, long‑term projects.
• Forecasts schedule changes and assesses impact on deliverables.
• Manages contracts, changes in scope, and vendor coordination.
• Communicates progress to senior management and partners.
