Job summary

AlphaX RE Capital is seeking a Land Development Associate to support planning, coordination, and execution of residential and mixed-use land development projects from acquisition through construction turnover.

You will work with Land Development, Acquisitions, Project Management, Finance, Construction, and external consultants to manage due diligence, entitlement, design coordination, permitting, budgeting, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in land development, civil engineering, construction, or real estate development.
• Basic knowledge of residential land development processes, entitlement, permitting, and infrastructure construction.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing multiple land development projects through acquisition, entitlement, design, permitting, infrastructure construction, and project closeout.
• Maintain project schedules, milestone tracking, and development timelines.
• Coordinate project activities with internal departments and external consultants.
• Monitor project progress and identify schedule or budget risks.
• Assist with entitlement applications, zoning approvals, subdivision maps, development agreements, and permit submissions.
• Coordinate with planning departments, engineering agencies, utility providers, and regulatory authorities.
• Track approval timelines and maintain entitlement documentation.
