Experience Champaign Urbana is seeking a Director of Project Accounting to lead a team of 10–15 Project Accountants across multiple locations. This role involves overseeing project setup, managing invoicing cycles, and directing client invoicing and accounts receivable.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial skills and a background in AEC project accounting. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required, with extensive experience and leadership capabilities essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8–10 years of project accounting experience necessary.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory or management role required.
• Experience in a mid-to-large AEC firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Project Accountants.
• Oversee project setup and contract administration.
• Manage invoicing cycle and accounts receivable.
