Job summary

USIC, a leading provider of utility locating and safety-critical field services, seeks a Senior Director of Product Management to drive strategy, performance, and evolution of a service line with full P&L accountability.

You will translate market and regulatory insights into differentiated offerings, partner with Finance, Operations, Technology, Sales, and Account Management, and guide roadmaps while ensuring safety and compliance. This is a 100% remote role with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in product management or service-line ownership within utility locating, damage prevention, or regulated services

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute service-line strategy and roadmaps aligned to enterprise priorities and market needs
• Achieve revenue growth, margin, and cost targets with Finance
• Translate customer, market, regulatory, and competitive insights into scalable service offerings
• Partner with Finance on planning, forecasting, pricing analysis, and performance tracking
• Establish and monitor KPIs tied to financial, operational, customer, and strategic outcomes
• Develop business cases and recommendations for executive approval
• Monitor service performance and improve unit economics, quality, safety, and customer outcomes
• Collaborate with Operations to align roadmaps with field delivery, safety, and compliance
• Work with Technology, Data, Sales, and Account Management on enablement and market positioning
• Support decisions on launching, scaling, adapting, or retiring services with data and readiness assessments
• Ensure regulatory, safety, and compliance considerations in all service decisions
• Engage with customers and industry stakeholders to inform strategy and validate assumptions
