Avalara, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to own the strategy, customer experience, and execution for a high-growth PLG portfolio serving SMBs, e-commerce sellers, lodging operators, and partner channels.

Formación

• 10+ years of product management experience across digital-first SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, payments, marketplace, tax, accounting, or compliance products.
• 6+ years of people leadership experience, leading via managers and senior PMs or cross-functional leaders.
• Proven success setting product strategy for a multi-product portfolio with measurable outcomes.
• Experience with self-serve buying motions, onboarding funnels, pricing, and packaging tests.
• Experience launching or scaling embedded products through third-party platforms, app marketplaces, or developer channels.
• Strong fluency with funnel analytics, cohort analysis, retention metrics, and unit economics.
• Practical AI fluency to reduce customer effort and improve product outcomes.
• Ability to operate in a matrixed environment with cross-functional influence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, executive-ready for investment cases and roadmaps.
