Job summary

Debut Biotech is seeking a senior Business Development Leader to secure and expand strategic brand partnerships in the prestige skincare space. This role drives outbound pipeline, manages complex deals, and steers multi-year partnerships to deliver significant revenue.

Based in San Diego preferred, remote work may be considered for the right candidate. You will report to the VP of Sales and collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing to align priorities and close large opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years in business development, lead generation, or formulation sales within the beauty industry.
• Deep, established relationships across prestige/masstige skincare brands.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and multiple strategic projects.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow relationships with prestige/masstige skincare brand partners as senior commercial contact.
• Drive outbound prospecting and pipeline generation for defined territory or segment.
• Maintain pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and convert opportunities into revenue.
• Manage full commercial process for strategic accounts from first contact to purchase order.
• Collaborate with R&D, product development, marketing, and leadership on pricing and contracting.
