Job summary

Altorfer Cat is seeking a Director of Product Support in Addison, IL. The role leads service, parts, and product support across Power Systems, delivering exceptional customer experience, growth, and operational efficiency.

You will manage leaders, set strategy, and oversee budgets and performance metrics. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and substantial leadership in service or product support, with extensive knowledge of Caterpillar products and strong financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in service, parts, product support, or related operations, including significant leadership responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to service managers, parts managers, the Product Support Sales Manager, and other Product Support leaders.
• Develop and execute the Power Systems Product Support strategy in alignment with division and company objectives.
• Maintain accountability for Product Support financial performance and P&L results.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
• Lead workforce development, training, and succession planning to sustain high performance.
