Job summary

Altorfer Inc. seeks a Project Manager to support Caterpillar electric power solutions for mission-critical data center infrastructure. You will coordinate with Sales, vendors, engineers, and customers, managing multi-phase projects from order through shipment and closeout.

This role emphasizes on-time delivery, budget adherence, and proactive risk management. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in power generation or related fields, a technical degree, and strong cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in power generation or mission critical industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field; PMP preferred.
• Experience managing complex multi-phase projects with OEMs and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers from quote acceptance to project completion.
• Lead project kickoff meetings, status reviews, and communications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with milestones and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales to align pricing, lead times, and specs.
• Generate purchase orders and manage procurement for generator sets and related equipment.
• Monitor and drive on-time delivery and project closeout.
