Job summary

Helion, based in Everett, WA, is seeking a senior leader to own the semiconductor roadmap for pulsed-power devices and to build a development-scale fabrication and reliability capability. You will guide cross-functional teams through design, packaging, and external fabrication partnerships to scale from development to production.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in semiconductors with leadership of teams
• Expertise in power device physics and reliability design
• Experience with high-volume packaging and external fabrication
• Proven ability to manage multi-year R&D budgets and vendor contracts

Responsibilities

• Own Helion's semiconductor roadmap and make build-versus-buy decisions for next-gen devices
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of scientists, engineers, technicians, and a PM
• Stand up development-scale device fabrication, characterization, and reliability capability
• Direct in-house device design for pulsed-power applications and alternative topologies
• Drive packaging and multi-die integration with thermal management for repeated operation
• Establish partnerships with high-volume fabs and manage vendor relationships
• Plan a multi-million-dollar development program with external partnerships and reporting
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, science, and operations leadership to advance capabilities
