Lightsource bp is seeking a Senior Director, Power Optimization and Market Analytics to lead the U.S. analytics team responsible for merchant revenue opportunities across a portfolio of energy, capacity, RECs, and ancillary services.

The role oversees market analysis for more than 3 GW of assets, with focus on RTO/ISO markets, FERC policy, and portfolio risk-adjusted returns. Hybrid work across major U.S. cities is offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience in power markets, energy trading, or market analytics.
• Strong knowledge of wholesale power market structures and revenue streams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead team in structuring merchant energy transactions and revenue opportunities.
• Oversee revenue optimization modeling for operating assets and BESS projects.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for merchant and contracted revenues.
• Negotiate contracts with utilities, trading companies, and wholesale market counter-parties.
• Present revenue performance and market outlooks to senior leadership and boards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support investment and portfolio decisions.
