Oracle is seeking an experienced Power Generation Operations Senior Director to lead and oversee primary and secondary generation systems at U.S. data center sites.

You will develop methods to protect compute load during load transfers, and partner with training teams to implement repair and maintenance programs, aiming for 100% equipment availability. You will recruit and manage teams, negotiate power plant agreements, and establish performance metrics for reliability and efficiency, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 10+ years in power generation operations with leadership roles.
• Experience with on-site power generation and data-center environments.
• Proven ability to develop MOPs and ramp-rate control processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams for on-site power generation assets.
• Develop and maintain MOPs to protect compute load during transitions.
• Collaborate on repair and maintenance training programs for staff.
• Negotiate and manage power plant agreements to meet uptime targets.
• Recruit and lead specialized teams for on-site generation.
• Monitor and report power system reliability and incident response.
• Drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Serve as escalation point for high-severity power incidents.
• Stay informed on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
