Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) seeks an experienced Power Generation Operations Senior Director to lead both primary and secondary power generation at U.S. data center sites in Nashville, TN.

You will develop methods to protect compute load during ramp rates and generation transfers, while partnering with training teams to build repair and maintenance programs. You will also oversee power plant agreements, recruit and manage on-site teams, and monitor performance metrics to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in power generation operations; 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of primary/secondary on-site power generation in mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams for operations and maintenance of on-site generation assets.
• Develop and maintain MOPs for compute load protection during transitions.
• Collaborate with training teams to create repair and maintenance programs.
• Negotiate and manage power plant agreements for on-site generation.
• Recruit and lead specialized teams to operate equipment; maintain 100% availability.
