Job summary

Oracle is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Power Generation Operations to lead on-site power generation assets at U.S. data center sites. You will develop MOPs to protect compute load during transitions and partner with training teams to deliver robust repair and maintenance programs.

You will also recruit, lead, and manage teams to ensure 100% equipment availability, negotiate power plant agreements, and report on reliability and safety metrics in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in power generation operations, with 5+ years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of primary/secondary on-site power generation technologies and integration into data centers.
• Experience negotiating and managing complex power plant or energy-related agreements.
• Proven track record in developing MOPs to protect compute load during generation transitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams for on-site power generation assets.
• Develop and maintain MOPs for load protection during ramp rate transitions.
• Deliver repairs and maintenance training programs for staff.
