Job summary

Oracle US Nashville is seeking a Senior Director of Power Generation Operations to lead on-site generation assets at our data center sites. You will develop and execute MOPs to protect compute load during transitions and partner with operations training to improve repair and maintenance programs.

You will oversee power plant agreements, recruit and manage teams to operate equipment, monitor performance metrics, and champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in a high-availability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in power generation operations; 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience with on-site generation in mission-critical facilities.
• Experience negotiating power plant energy agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams for operations and maintenance of primary and secondary power generation assets.
• Develop and maintain MOPs to protect compute load during generation transitions.
• Collaborate on repair and maintenance training programs for all staff.
• Oversee power plant agreements for on-site generation and uptime targets.
• Recruit and lead on-site power generation teams to maintain 100% system availability.
• Monitor performance metrics related to power system reliability and response to incidents.
• Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
