Job summary

The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Director of Platform Strategy, Solutions & Delivery to lead technology strategy, architecture, and enterprise delivery across the Digital organization.

You will set strategy and roadmap for platforms, guide governance, and partner with business teams to translate priorities into cohesive, scalable solutions. Based in New York City with a hybrid work model (remote 3 days a week; in-office 2 days), you will drive architecture standards,

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive experience in Digital technology, platform strategy, solution architecture, or related enterprise technology roles.
Experience setting technology strategy and leading complex Digital platforms, architecture, solutions, and modernization initiatives from strategy through implementation and ongoing evolution.
Strong understanding of modern technology ecosystems, including platform lifecycle management, architecture standards, technology governance, cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, scalability, technical debt, and technology risk.
Experience translating business priorities into technology roadmaps, scalable solutions, and investment recommendations, including build, buy, sourcing, and vendor decisions.
Proven ability to provide senior technology direction across complex initiatives, lead strategic technology partners, and work effectively across business, Digital, Data, IT, and external partners while enabling delivery teams to own detailed solution design and implementation.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technology decisions, risks, and trade-offs in clear business terms and lead effectively through ambiguity and change.
Demonstrated people leadership experience, including leading and developing senior technology professionals and building organizational capabilities.
Knowledge of Salesforce ecosystems and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities.

Responsibilities

Set and evolve the Digital technology strategy and roadmap across platforms, solutions, architecture, and shared capabilities, aligned with business and Digital priorities.
Translate business priorities into platform strategies, modernization plans, technology roadmaps, and investment recommendations.
Guide platform lifecycle decisions, including when to build, buy, modernize, consolidate, or retire technology.
Oversee the health and evolution of Digital platforms, considering scalability, technical debt, technology risk, cost, and long-term sustainability.
Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, for potential to strengthen the Digital ecosystem and create business value.
Provide strategic leadership for Digital Architecture, establishing architectural principles, standards, reusable patterns, decision frameworks, and technology guardrails.
Guide complex platform, solution, integration, and cross-platform technology decisions while enabling Solutions Leads and delivery teams to own detailed design and implementation.
Establish and continuously improve architecture review, technology governance, solution quality, and technical readiness practices.
Guide the evolution of reusable Digital capabilities and technology patterns that improve consistency, accelerate delivery, and reduce unnecessary complexity.
Partner with Digital Experience, Portfolio Management, Digital Operations, Data, IT, and business teams to translate portfolio priorities into executable technology plans and cohesive end-to-end solutions.
Provide senior technology leadership across complex initiatives, helping teams navigate cross-platform dependencies, technical risks, implementation challenges, and significant technology decisions.
Communicate technology decisions, trade-offs, risks, and investment recommendations to executive and senior stakeholders in clear business terms.
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Salesforce Center of Excellence, setting direction for its roadmap, architecture, governance, delivery practices, and continued evolution.
Shape LHW’s Digital technology partner strategy and establish governance, performance expectations, and technology and delivery standards for strategic vendors and implementation partners.
