We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Senior Director, People Systems, Analytics, and Digital Transformation to lead our enterprise-wide HR technology and workforce analytics strategy and enhance our HR service desk operations. This individual will lead the HRIS team, People Analytics function, and People Care Team (HR service desk). They will be responsible for optimizing our people systems, driving digital innovation to support our HR and organizational strategic priorities, ensuring data integrity, and delivering insights that shape talent decisions and business outcomes. This individual also will be responsible for ensuring HR service desk capabilities and operations to improve the employee experience and optimize HR operations. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with top notch people leadership, change management, communication, and collaboration skills.
Strategic Leadership & Team Oversight
- Act as a trusted, strategic advisor to the Executive Vice President, Human Resources and senior ACS leaders on workforce data strategy and digital transformation in HR and a key member of the HR Leadership Team
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals across HRIS administration, data analytics, reporting, systems integration, and our HR service desk.
- Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for HR technology and people analytics aligned to ACS’ organizational objectives and strategic priorities.
- Lead the evolution of HR analytics and service desk capabilities leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and predictive analytics
People Systems Strategy & Governance
- Oversee the administration, optimization, and integration of all core HR systems (e.g., UKG and SuccessFactors)
- Ensure data governance, system security, and compliance protocols are maintained and scaled appropriately
- Partner with IT, Finance, and other business units to drive system interoperability and digital innovation
- Lead vendor relationships, contract management, and evaluation of new tools and technologies to advance ACS’ organizational objectives and strategic priorities
People Analytics & Insights
- Oversee and lead the design and delivery of strategic dashboards and reports related to workforce planning, performance, talent acquisition, engagement, and other key metrics aligned to ACS’s strategic priorities
- Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making within HR and across all ACS
- Introduce predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities to support strategic planning and scenario modeling
- Present complex data insights to senior ACS leaders in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner
People Care Team
- Design and lead the implementation of a centralized, AI-supported Tier 1 HR Service Desk (e.g., using chatbots, virtual agents, automated knowledge bases) and a case management system to support continuing expansion
- Drive continuous improvement using service desk analytics, employee feedback, and automation capabilities to improve speed, accuracy, and experience
- Monitor service KPIs, ensuring high service levels and continuous reduction in escalations to HR partners
Organizational Impact & Change Management
- Drive adoption of HR systems and analytics capabilities through training, change management, and stakeholder engagement
- Identify opportunities to automate, augment, and streamline processes to improve the employee experience
- Translate business challenges into system and data solutions that enhance HR service delivery and impact
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in HR systems and analytics, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated success leading a team and managing enterprise HR technology and data strategy.
- Deep expertise with platforms such as UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar.
- Experience leading a large scale HCM implementation.
- Experience managing global technology and employee data.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and strong understanding of data structures and governance.
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and cross-functional influencing skills.
- Experience working in complex, matrixed, or global organizations preferred.

DC-based: This role is based in our Washington, D.C. office. A reasonable rate of compensation for this position is between
$200,000 & $245,000 per year.
ACS currently provides the following benefits for this position: paid vacation leave, paid sick leave, paid holidays, health insurance, flexible spending account or health care savings account, dental insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, retirement benefits, short- and long-term disability, and 4-week work from anywhere; each benefit is subject to the terms of the applicable program. Additional benefits may apply based on skills, experience, and location.
