Qualifications

• 13+ years of progressive payroll leadership in a large, multi-state environment.
• Experience leading payroll for a public company or SOX-compliant organization.
• Deep knowledge of federal, state, local payroll regulations.
• Experience leading HCM/payroll system implementations, Dayforce preferred.
• Proven success managing outsourced payroll services.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute payroll strategy for the independent company, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Build and lead the payroll team, including hiring, structure, and performance management.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for U.S. employees in multiple states and SLAs with partners.
• Lead Dayforce implementation including configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance; coordinate with Internal Audit.
