Job summary

McKesson Corporation is seeking a Senior Workday Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations and ensure timely and accurate payments in a fast-paced environment. The role reports to the Director of Payroll Operations and requires deep knowledge of Workday Payroll and strong leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of payroll experience, at least 3 years in management, and a CPP is preferred. Base pay ranges from $100,800 to $168,000 with potential bonuses and incentives.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of payroll experience in heavy and fast paced environments.
• 3+ years of managerial experience (Manager or Supervisor).
• Working knowledge of Workday Payroll is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up internal meetings to review payments and ensure gross to net accuracy before payroll settlement.
• Lead annual MIP bonus processing and Restricted Stock vesting with verification of deferred comp.
• Coordinate with business partners to meet payroll deadlines and resolve changes.
• Maintain payroll data in Workday and design systems for accurate data entry.
• Coach internal colleagues on Payroll and handle confidential information professionally.
• Resolve post-processing issues with management and document adjustments.
• Assess payroll procedures and implement policies for efficiency; delegate tasks as needed.
• Protect sensitive payroll data and stay updated on policy, standards, and laws.
