Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Payroll, Compensation & Benefits IT Specialist to join its hybrid team in Richmond, VA. You will configure Dayforce modules, manage integrations, and ensure payroll and benefits workflows comply with multi-state rules.

The role requires 4+ years on Dayforce with strong data transformation and API skills, plus analytics-backed reporting experience. This is a hands-on technical position supporting tax updates, enrollment events, and security controls.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent and 4+ years of Dayforce experience.
Experience configuring Dayforce Rules Engine (Pay, Benefits, Compensation).
Hands-on with Data Transformations (XML, XSLT) and API integrations.
Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll and benefits logic.
Experience with reporting via Dayforce Analytics.

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and audit Dayforce modules incl. Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Time & Attendance.
Design data exchanges using Dayforce Data Transformations, APIs, and secure transfers.
Create and optimize standard and custom reports; ensure compliance with labor laws.
Provide Tier 3 support and manage release testing during Service Packs and tax updates.
