Job summary

South Central Regional Medical Center seeks a Senior Director of Payor Contracting, Billing & Collections to lead third‑party contracting and billing operations across hospital and clinic settings. You will negotiate contracts, oversee billing/collection services, and ensure compliance and optimal reimbursement.

You will collaborate with payors and internal teams to monitor performance, reduce denials, and optimize revenue cycle through data analytics and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive hospital revenue cycle experience including billing and collections.
• Experience with commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care payors.

Responsibilities

• Leads negotiation, execution, and management of payor contracts with commercial, governmental, and managed care payors.
• Analyzes contract terms to align with reimbursement strategies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversees contract modeling, rate validation, and payor performance monitoring.
• Serves as primary authority on payor contract interpretation and escalation.
• Provides reporting and recommendations to Executive Leadership on payor contracts.
