Zusammenfassung

Darkroom is seeking a Senior Director, Paid Social to lead and scale its Paid Social practice. You will own strategy, performance, and the commercial health of the practice, leading a team of Directors, Managers, and Specialists.

You’ll partner with leadership to shape growth, margins, and service offerings while guiding executive-level client engagements. You’ll report to the Managing Director of Paid Media and work across Paid Social, Search, Programmatic, and Shadow to advance the practice

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of paid media advertising experience, with 8+ years in Paid Social.
• 5+ years leading paid social teams, including managers.
• Proven experience building or scaling a paid social practice or department.
• Experience owning or influencing a practice P&L, including revenue and margins.
• Track record overseeing paid social portfolios at $10M+ monthly spend.
• Executive presence with CMOs, founders, and leadership.
• Expert-level command of Meta Ads Manager and related platforms.
• Mastery of ecommerce metrics (CPA, CAC, iROAS, MER) and modern measurement.
• Expertise in full-funnel creative strategy and scalable testing systems.
• Strong portfolio budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Own the multi-year vision, strategy, and performance of Darkroom’s Paid Social.
• Lead the Paid Social leadership team and partner on OKRs, planning, budgeting, and headcount.
• Own revenue, margin, client retention, and pay for the practice; report to leadership.
• Shape service offering, pricing inputs, and new service lines as platforms evolve.
• Lead new business efforts with Growth on pitches, audits, and proposals.
• Build and grow a 10+ person team across roles, with direct reporting lines.
• Develop leadership bench, grow future leaders, and create succession plans.
• Define org design and hiring plans with Recruiting.
• Set career paths, leveling, and performance review processes.
• Build a culture of accountability, candor, and high performance.
