Job summary

Kennedy Jenks is seeking a transformational leader to help shape the future of its technical project delivery. Based in any KJ market nationwide, this senior role leads technical professionals across disciplines and strengthens project delivery and client relationships, while developing future leaders.

The role requires 10+ years in design engineering consulting (water/wastewater preferred), 4+ years of leadership, and a PE license is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of design engineering consulting experience, preferably within water/wastewater.
• 4+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leaders, and project teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting complex infrastructure, environmental, water/wastewater, industrial, or engineering consulting projects.
• Strong business acumen and ability to partner across operations, business development, project management, and technical services.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development and advise KJ's Technical Services teams and discipline leaders.
• Support successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects.
• Promote efficient design delivery in line with standards.
• Promote collaboration across engineering, environmental, scientific, and technical disciplines.
• Partner with managers to align resources with business needs.
• Work with quality and risk programs to advance technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Travel 25%-50% nationwide to collaborate with clients and offices.
