The Opportunity

As our Senior Director of Project Management for Diversified Food and Health - North America, you will report to the Head of DF&H North America.

You will lead the delivery of important projects across the region with significant financial impact, requiring a leader with strong project management principles, exceptional leadership skills, and a focus on efficiency and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement regional mid and long-term project management strategies aligned with JBT's goals.
2. Oversee the delivery of regional projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
3. Develop a high-performing team of project managers and promote continuous improvement.
4. Collaborate with partners, including clients and vendors, to ensure project success and negotiate with senior leadership.
5. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Establish metrics to monitor project progress and implement corrective actions.
7. Optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
8. Enhance project management processes and methodologies.
9. Manage the regional project management budget.
10. Be fully accountable for the success and regional results of major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Technical or industrial manufacturing experience.
• 10+ years in project management, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles regionally.
• Experience managing large-scale, capital projects, including greenfield and consolidation projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Lean).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical skills for solving complex issues.
• PMP, PgMP, or similar certification.

Working Conditions

• Domestic and international travel up to 50%.
• Flexible hours to meet project deadlines and stakeholder needs.
• Remote or onsite at a JBT Marel facility in the US.
