What Project Management does at Worldwide

Worldwide Clinical Trials Project Management combines operational rigor with therapeutic expertise, maintaining a client-focused approach. Our Global Project Leads (GPLs) and Clinical Project Managers (CPMs) guide project teams to deliver high quality, focusing on “doing it right the first time”.

The team engages in all aspects of trials, collaborating with scientific and therapeutic leadership, coordinating across project teams, and providing innovative, flexible, and proactive solutions. You will be dedicated to a specific therapeutic area, developing in-depth global operational expertise and benefiting from our experts’ scientific and medical backgrounds.

What you will do

The Director, Project Management, will oversee large, multi-national projects, directing complex projects or programs, and providing functional leadership to project managers.

  • Effectively collaborate across divisions to deliver projects within scope, time, and budget.
  • Support, train, and mentor project managers.
  • Supervise employees, conduct performance appraisals, and manage policies.
  • Work with leadership to develop and improve business processes, support cross-functional teams, and lead change initiatives.
  • Communicate with sponsors for project scope and performance feedback.
  • Serve as a liaison with Business Development for client proposals.
  • Assist in resource management, policy development, and goal setting.
What you will bring to the role
  • Strong leadership and financial skills
  • Expertise in project management principles
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and resource management
  • Process improvement skills, especially in clinical trials and development
Your experience
  • Degree in life sciences or related certification; or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 10 years in clinical pharmaceutical industry, with demonstrated project management skills.
  • Alternatively, 5+ years supervisory healthcare experience and 8+ years in clinical research.
  • Experience in global trials and project management software.
  • Experience with Obesity/GLP1 trials is required.
