Job summary

Sound Generations seeks a Director of Philanthropy to lead the development and execution of the Annual Fund, Planned Giving, and Institutional Giving. The role partners with the Marketing & Philanthropy team, program managers, and external stakeholders to grow donor engagement and fundraising impact.

Based in Seattle, WA, the position oversees multi-year strategies, donor portfolios, and stewardship programs, with a focus on collaboration, compliance, and results-driven growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) years related experience.
• Two (2) years' supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Planned Giving, Institutional Giving, and Annual Campaigns in support of Philanthropy fund raising goals.
• Develop and implement a multi-year strategy for growing and strengthening annual and legacy giving.
• Identify, engage, cultivate, and solicit key stakeholders to deepen their investment in Sound Generations' mission.
• Manage cost-effective fund-raising strategies that enhance donor relations and stewardship activities.
• Collaborate with vendors and funders; oversee foundation and third-party giving and workflows for the Annual Fund.
• Grow planned giving through research, solicitation, and stewardship of legacy donors.
• Ensure prospect research is conducted, and results reports are developed for funders and management.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate program operations and donor stewardship.
• Coordinate with leadership and the Board to align and communicate effectively.
