Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle, San Francisco, or NYC is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Development to identify inorganic opportunities and lead end-to-end transactions.

The role partners with the executive team to prepare cross-functional business cases, drive due diligence, negotiate terms, and oversee post-deal integration. You will mentor junior team members and influence strategic decisions across the company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of corporate development and M&A experience at large public companies, with prior investment banking experience preferred.
• Proven track record in leading transactions end to end.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Commercially savvy, with ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in travel industry preferred but not mandatory.
• MBA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify inorganic opportunities to accelerate Expedia Group’s strategy, including mergers, acquisitions, minority investments, and divestitures.
• Prepare cross-functional business cases for senior leadership and the board.
• Execute transactions, conduct due diligence, and negotiate key terms.
• Partner with internal leaders to ensure successful post-deal integration and value realization.
• Mentor and coach junior Corporate Development team members.
