Expedia Group is seeking an experienced M&A professional to join our Corporate Development function. This role reports into Senior Vice President leading the function. As part of this role, you will partner closely with our executive team, including the CEO, CFO, Chief Strategy Officer, to identify and execute inorganic opportunities.
Please note this role is available in Seattle, San Francisco, or NYC, and follows our flexible hybrid model, which requires three in-office days a week.
Identify compelling inorganic opportunities to accelerate Expedia Group's strategy, spanning mergers, acquisitions, minority investments, and divestitures
Prepare thoughtful, comprehensive and cross-functional business cases to discuss the opportunity with our senior executive team and board of directors
Execute transactions, drive due diligence and negotiate key terms
Partner with key internal leaders to ensure successful post-deal integration of the target and value realization for Expedia Group
Mentor and coach junior members of our Corporate Development team
10+ years of corporate development and M&A experience at large public companies, with prior investment banking experience preferred
Proven track record in leading transactions end to end
Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
Commercially savvy, with ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Experience in travel industry preferred but not mandatory
MBA strongly preferred
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $269,000.00 to $376,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $430,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in New York is $292,500.00 to $409,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $468,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
