Qualifications

• PhD in immunology and substantial immunology training.
• Experience leading cross-functional small‑molecule programs from hit identification to IND‑enabling studies.
• Deep expertise in innate and/or adaptive immunology and primary‑cell/ex vivo studies including multiparameter flow cytometry.

Responsibilities

• Lead immunology strategy from target validation and hit identification through lead optimization, development candidate nomination, and IND‑enabling studies.
• Oversee disease‑relevant studies using primary human immune cells, whole blood/PBMCs, and tissues to assess mechanism and immune function.
• Define and oversee efficacy, PK/PD, biomarker strategies, and translation to human biomarkers; interpret results.
• Manage scientists, oversee CROs/partners, ensure clear goals, timelines, budgets, data quality, and SOP/GLP‑aligned practices.
