Iambic Therapeutics, headquartered in San Diego, is seeking a Senior or Executive Medical Director to lead clinical development for our early-stage oncology portfolio.

You will own the clinical strategy from IND-enabling activities through first-in-human and early efficacy studies, serving as the clinical lead on cross-functional program teams with discovery, translational, regulatory, and operations colleagues.

Formación

• MD/DO with oncology specialization; board-certified preferred.
• 5+ years for Senior Medical Director; 8–10+ years for Executive Medical Director.
• Experience authoring and executing IND submissions.
• Experience designing Phase 1/early-phase oncology trials.
• Strong understanding of oncology drug development landscape and regulatory environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead early-stage oncology programs from IND through Phase 1 and early proof-of-concept.
• Author IND submissions, protocols, and regulatory documents; support health authority interactions.
• Design first-in-human and early-phase oncology trials with biomarkers and translational plans.
• Provide medical monitoring and safety oversight for active trials, with analytics.
• Collaborate with AI/ML platform teams on patient selection, endpoints, and hypotheses.
• Engage investigators, study sites, and external stakeholders; governance and BD input as needed.
• Cross-functional collaboration to keep programs on strategy and timeline.
