Job summary

El Programa Hispano Católico (EPHC) is seeking a Director of Development to lead fundraising growth, diversify revenue streams, and shape public narrative for growth and long-term sustainability.

The role oversees major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships, and donor engagement, reporting to the Executive Director and collaborating with the Board. 4-day workweek and hybrid schedule are described, with a focus on equity-driven community impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior management with board support experience.
• 2+ years fundraising with individuals, corporations, foundations.
• 1 year grant writing experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong ability to plan, develop, and execute development programs.
• Experience with donor segmentation, research, and cultivation.
• Professional certifications in fundraising preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic development and revenue diversification aligned with organizational priorities.
• Expand funding beyond government by growing individual giving, major gifts, foundations, and corporate sponsorships.
• Develop and steward relationships with donors; enhance retention and lifetime value.
• Oversee development communications and ensure consistent storytelling and messaging.
• Direct signature fundraising events and campaigns to grow unrestricted revenue.
• Supervise Development and Communication staff and coordinate consultants.
• Ensure fundraising systems, reporting, and compliance support sustainable growth.
