Job summary

Third Sector New England (TSNE) is seeking an Assistant Director of Development, Outreach, and Faith Community Engagement in Boston to advance fundraising, program development, and cross‑sector collaborations through faith communities and partners.

The role leads communications, donor relations, and strategic engagement, with supervision of interns and volunteers and collaboration across Safe Havens initiatives.

Qualifications

• MSW, Ed., MPA, MPH, M.Div., M.T.S., or BA with equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in field of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or elder abuse.
• Four to six years of organizational management experience.
• Excellent organizational, communications, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of diverse racial, cultural, ethnic, socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Grant writing and fundraising experience.
• Ability to speak and teach about abuse and its effects on faith-affiliated victims.

Responsibilities

• Represent Safe Havens in community and national forums.
• Build and maintain partnerships with funders, faith communities, and service providers.
• Oversee communications: newsletters, social media, website, and publications.
• Develop programming for national and local audiences.
• Supervise interns, fellows, and volunteers.
• Collaborate on program development and evaluation.
