Job summary

Safe Havens Interfaith Partnership Against Domestic Violence and Elder Abuse invites applications for the Assistant Director of Development, Outreach, and Faith Community Engagement. The role leads communications, grant programs, and donor relations while guiding strategy and program development.

The position requires experience in nonprofit development, strong facilitation, and the ability to work with diverse faith communities; travel nationwide may be involved.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in social services, theology, or public administration.
• Minimum two years of experience in field of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or elder abuse.
• Four to six years of organizational management experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience working with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Represent Safe Havens in community and national forums.
• Build and maintain partnerships with funders and diverse faith communities.
• Oversee public relations, newsletters, social media, and publications.
• Write and report on grant activities with Director.
• Develop donor relations and manage donor databases.
• Supervise interns, fellows, and volunteers.
• Identify new opportunities and expand programming locally and nationally.
