Share Our Strength in Boston is seeking a Director of Development to grow major gifts in New England and supervise a small regional team. You will work strategically with organizational leadership, including the Founder and CEO, national board members, and high-level volunteers.

As part of a national cohort, you will share best practices with peers, develop multi-year fundraising plans, lead six-figure gifts, and oversee donor cultivation events in New England, including the Boston No Kid Hungry

Formación

• An experienced fund development professional with a track record of cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors.
• Experience leveraging large-scale events as a revenue driver for major giving.
• Demonstrated ability to manage up and secure buy-in from executive leadership, including CEO and national board members.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to articulate an organization’s mission and programs to donors and volunteers.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a comprehensive multi-year fundraising plan with a goal of raising funds in the New England region.
• Lead, manage, and grow a major giving program including six-figure gifts and multi-year commitments.
• Oversee donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship in collaboration with the executive team and board.
• Oversee donor events in New England and grow the annual Boston No Kid Hungry dinner.
• Collaborate with programmatic, communications, and development teams on donor outreach content.
• Analyze donor data and report findings to the CEO and senior staff.
• Lead a small two-person development/culinary team and support a regional colleague.
• Serve as a spokesperson for Share Our Strength in the region.
